Library in Canada

The Garden of Knowledge reimagines the library as a cognitive ecosystem rooted in biophilic design. By enveloping the space in a lush jungle aesthetic, the environment actively lowers stress and primes the developing brain for discovery. The layout mirrors neural maturation by flowing from the sensory safe haven of the Clearing of First Steps to the autonomous Forest of Explorers. Rigid furniture is replaced by soft organic seating and tactile features like the interactive herbarium to stimulate executive function through physical engagement. This project stands as a testament to how interiors inspired by nature can serve as fertile ground for intellectual blossoming.

Developed in collaboration with Meilleur Monde, we applied rigorous design thinking methodologies to ensure the spatial layout perfectly mirrors the users needs.
